CMTD – Blue Mascara

CMTD – Blue Mascara

Today we’ll start our new “Color Makes The Difference” project! Every week we will post a product printed using our digital heat transfer decals to keep you inspired!

For this one we picked a PP (polypropylene) mascara bottle which was decorated with a mock-up design created by us.

What makes this one special is the heat transfer that was printed for this product. Besides having a great gloss, the transfer will stick to the PP without any pretreatment at all! Due to that you can not only print anything from smaller volumes to the quantities that you need. Furthermore, you can also do this with a photo-realistic quality and with a straightforward heat transfer process. Can it be more convenient than that?

HEAT, TIME, AND PRESSURE – The Holy Trinity of Heat Transfer Applications

Besides many other factors that can influence the heat transfer process, the three most important ones are heat, time, and pressure. No matter if it is a textile transfer or a transfer for packaging applications, you should know about the effect of these parameters and how a transfer is affected by them.

Hot Peel, Hot Split, or Cold Peel Heat Transfers

Textile heat transfers come in three technologies when it comes to peeling. This can be “hot peel”, “cold peel” or “hot split”. But what is the difference between them?
